  • Spring Conference & Congressional Fly-In: Patient Voices & Advocacy

We are one month from our 2020 Spring Conference & Congressional Fly-In and are excited to see you in Washington, DC on March 22-24, 2020. As we plan for this important event, we are reminded that patients are the heart of our advocacy. In order to include the patient perspective in our dialogue, AMRPA leadership and staff encourages you to bring a patient with you to the upcoming conference and subsequent meetings on Capitol Hill.

Meeting with members of Congress or their staff is an effective way to discuss the issues impacting inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Bringing one of your patients with you to discuss those priorities will put face to the issues and help drive home the message of the meaningful work of medical rehabilitation.

If you have any questions or are interested in bringing a patient with you to the conference, please do not hesitate to contact Jennie Shaw, AMRPA Operations Manager, at or 202-207-1107.
