Congress Contemplates Further Coronavirus Relief as Global Cases Surge
The global toll of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) now exceeds 573,000 deaths and 13.1 million confirmed cases, with the United States leading in cases, followed by Brazil and India.
Throughout June, the Trump Administration focused on “reopening” the country, but the new surge in cases is placing increased urgency on Congress to pass additional economic relief legislation, commonly referred to as “Phase 4.”
