This webinar will provide an update on how the COVID-19 public health emergency has impacted AMRPA’s short and long-term policy agenda.  We will provide an overview of the current waivers and regulatory flexibilities that are currently available to inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs), discuss waivers that may be considered for extended or permanent implementation, and how AMRPA is engaging with Members of Congress on future pandemic preparedness and response legislation.  The webinar will also touch on major upcoming CMS rules and policies that could impact IRFs later in 2020 and how the public health emergency is affecting AMRPA’s engagement with regulators on these issues.
